We invite you to submit abstracts for consideration for the 2019 Loddon and Mallee Area Allied Health Conference (LMAAHC), as an oral or lightning oral presentation. The conference theme is Challenges, Changes and Champions, and aims to exhibit quality and service improvements as well as research undertaken in the Loddon and Mallee Areas. Abstracts highlighting service delivery in collaboration with consumers from culturally diverse and vulnerable population groups are also welcomed.
Abstract submissions are invited from:
Allied Health Practitioners and Assistants working in public and private sectors
Health academics and researchers
Allied Health undergraduate and higher degree research students
Healthcare managers and policy makers.
Presentation types
Oral presentations (12 minutes plus 3 minutes question time)
Lightning oral presentation (3 minutes one power point slide).
Submitting your abstract
Prior to submitting your abstract please review the Abstract Submission Guidelines (see Hints and Tips page)
All abstracts are to be submitted via the abstract submission form (see below) by 5pm, Monday 25th February, 2019.
Abstracts are not to exceed 300 words and must include: a. Author(s) b. Presenter(s) c. Organisation d. Discipline e. Title f. Background (including study aim) g. Methods h. Results i. Conclusion/ implications j. Author biography
Important Dates 14th January 2019 – Call for abstracts open 25th February 2019 – Abstract submission closes 5pm via abstract submission form 25th March 2019 - All submissions will be notified of outcome 1st May 2019 - Presenters to email power point presentation.
Presenter Registration
Successful presenters will need to register for the conference (successful oral presenters will receive complimentary registration).
