Workshop Topic: Professional Resilience
Workshop is open to people who have registered to attend the conference program on the 10th of May.
Building an individual's resilience helps them to learn to better manage their emotions and to respond rather than react to upsetting situations and conversations. People who are resilient are able to manage setbacks and challenges and can overcome obstacles and barriers with a solutions focused and proactive outlook. They have increased self-awareness and are effectively able to identify the symptoms and sources of stress, as well as take action to address them. Developing resilience furthermore helps to cultivate compassion for oneself and others which leads to a more harmonious work environment, positive work relationships, and increased collaboration.
